From the coast to the Highlands, the small towns and the world-class restaurants. Whether you’re exploring a beach, paddling through the surf, enjoying a meal, soaking up some history or just cruising a scenic byway, Maine is home to the people and places that make every encounter unforgettable. And over the past 200 years, the people and the state have helped shape each other.
